Author April Erwin's Aspects of Faith

Most of us, sometimes, feel as if our heads are barely keeping above water . Even Avril Lavigne felt that way as she dealt with health issues over the last few years and her strenuous bout with Lyme disease , which is being given awareness to so many in their battle through her foundation, the Avril Lavigne Foundation .  There's a world of veterans, victims, and everyday human beings going through PTSD and dealing with mental illnesses that are suffering and need our help. Reading can be a great force against the negative, and when you find a book whose message gives you hope, you have to share it. That's my motivation in bringing you a new book today. Author April Erwin joined me a couple of years ago with her first book in the Heroes of Justice series: Justice Burning . In that interview, she shared what inspired her story and how it evolved. Feel free to check it out here: A Favorite: Guest Author April Erwin : Now, April gives me some insight into her newest book: Th

You may wish for that soulful uplift, a little laugh, or an outlet for any emotion. Life is random, and sometimes, what you read needs to be random as well. Savor her eclectic mix of poetry designed to remind you of your first love, the heartbreak of loss, special memories of family, spiritual connections, the appeal of nature, and the expectations we have of life.  Rebecca Reddell’s inspiration is to find the light in the darkest of places.  Challenge accepted. I'd like to share a few of my favorite poems with you and give you an introduction to Beginnings . I hope you'll enjoy my reflections on life, emotion, family, inspiration, and love. Sometimes you live your best life when you read and connect to what someone else has been through.  Welcome to my world. Poems of Inspiration:  "To

MY DEBUT AT HALF-PRICE BOOKS On September 5th, I came home to a glorious surprise. The coolest event I've had in awhile. Three boxes sat on my kitchen table. Inside, every one of my five books. My four fairytale retellings and poetry book.  It was such a feeling! I was so happy I could have burst! If you're a writer, you know the feeling. If you're a reader, I'm sure you can imagine it.  Sorting out my books, I set aside the ones I knew I'd be sharing with my betas --  who were the most amazing readers throughout my writing and launch process. They gave me invaluable feedback, and I appreciated their words of wisdom and kindness!!  Next, I set aside one book of each to donate to my local bookstore, and the place I love to call home: Half Price Books . My manager and coworkers have been supportive of my writing journey. They've been considerate every step of the way asking how my writing has progressed, helping give their thoughts on the cover

Red Headed Book Lover Blog Interview

RED HEADED BOOK LOVER BLOG Last week, I introduced you to Aimee Ann and her blog. A book-loving blogger, Aimee Ann enjoys reading and reviewing books that she loves. I was honored to have her share my book Realm Walk and give it 5/5 Stars. However, she didn't stop there. This fellow red-head also shared an interview she had with me on her Author Spotlight the week of the September 7th.  She was kind enough to include me with other fabulous authors whose books she has read and loved. It is one of the greatest privileges I've ever had, and Aimee Ann is the kindest person in the world! It was an amazing experience, and I can't thank her enough for making me a part of her world.  Aimee Ann is also a huge advocate for our armed forces, and in particular, our wounded heroes . I support military charities as well and hope you'll check out the four foundations who help others in need that she has posted on her site. It's my hope you'll enjoy checking o
