Finding a new book is one of the most therapeutic processes in the world. I love reading the synopsis on the back, smelling the inside, flipping through the pages, and looking over the front covers. It's like having a new gift to open and explore.  I usually find lifelong friends within the pages of a book. It's enjoyable to meet them on the first page and take a journey with them all the way to the end. Their growth, decisions, and personalities make every page a pleasure.  The plots that authors develop and write give me the opportunity to delve into someone else's story. It's a delight to escape into a whole new world and become someone else for a little while.  I'm sure all readers feel this way, and it's a marvelous sentiment to connect with others over a shared love of books.
