What is an ARC reader, you ask?

An ARC is someone who obtains a prepublished, free paperback or ebook copy (known as an Advanced Reader copy; aka ARC) of The Battle and reads it within a certain given period. Readers are given the opportunity to share their review of the book through Amazon, Goodreads, Bookbub, blogs, and other social media sites. Authors are grateful to anyone who takes the time to read and share their thoughts on the story.

Ezekiel “Zeke” Griffith is used to feeling on the edge of death. Fighting to keep his men alive, Zeke wishes for one thing: to get home in one piece and marry the love of his life. Yet, he knows hopes and dreams don’t always come true. When his death on the battlefield isn’t just about war but a deadly plot, Zeke has to face his fears and failures on a whole new level. 

Zeke and Cody aren’t prepared for the dangerous conspiracy about to explode around them. Their love, past, and very lives will be tested to the limits. Zeke and Cody aren't your average couple. They are fighting more than one war, and it might be the battle to end them.

The Battle isn't your typical Historical WWII story. 
Their lives depend on every word you read as their story unravels.

WWII Movie Research: My Top Five Beware I'm a fan of the visual, and I have included several pictures from the movies which I found on Google Images. Do you ever read a book and think, "I wish I could meet this person in real life?" Because I just read the most insightful nonfiction book, Nobody's Victim , where that was my immediate reaction. This is someone I have come to highly respect, when a month ago I didn't even know her name.  Carrie Goldberg is a lawyer, and before you boo (completely legit reaction to that profession), let me share a little more about her and her book. You might find you don't mind that she's a lawyer after you hear what I have to say. Her law firm C.A. Goldberg, PLLC is established in Brooklyn, and she owns it to help litigate for those who have become targets for harassment, sexual assault, blackmail - online and offline, and revenge porn. That's right. She's one of the good guys, and she's a herione in more ways than one.
