Red Headed Book Lover Blog Review

MY REALM WALK REVIEW
As a writer, it means so much when someone likes your book and shares their enjoyment with you. It's the warmest, cheeriest feeling when a reader loves your story and characters and takes the time to write a review. The appreciation is almost tripled when someone takes the time to write a whole blog about you and one of your books. A book they read and loved. I think I might burst with excitement!
Aimee Ann, book-lover and blogger of Red Headed Book Lover blog, contacted me to request the opportunity to read and review my YA fantasy, fairytale retelling, Realm Walk. It was a thrilling opportunity, and I was honored. As she said in her blog review, "Realm Walk is undeniably a must read and a novel that I was desperate to read ever since discovering it. Firstly, the cover of the book is stunning but what really attracted me was the phenomenal description which alluded to themes of fantasy and even legends and fairy tales and when I read the word Elf I was hooked."

Here are a few excerpts of her review of Realm Walk:
"Realm Walk is the perfect example of why I love fantasy novels and it is undeniably one of the best I have ever read."
"Realm Walk is an incredible novel that could be defined as a fairy tale, but although it has some fairy tales themes and is in part a reimagining, there is so much more to this book and the story is exceptional and will leave you breathless at the end of each chapter. "
"Reading Realm Walk you can feel Rebecca Reddell’s pursuit of literary perfection."
"Once you pick up Realm Walk, you won’t be able to put it down…I know I couldn’t!"

This has to be one of the greatest moments of my life! To have someone love my book so much and write such a beautiful review! That's not even all of it. You can find the whole review here: https://redheadedbooklover.com/realm-walk-rebecca-reddell/
What an honor!!! I can't thank Aimee Ann enough for her review and infinite kindness!!
If it isn't enough to be grouped with other beloved authors she's reviewed such as: Steig Larsson's Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Cassandra Clare's City of Bones, Emma Donoghue's Room, Jenny Hammerle's Parachute Girls, Richard T. Drake's Heir of the Hunted, Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl, and so many others, but the compliments she gives about my writing and characters is beautiful and unequaled. I'm more apprciative and delighted than words can say!!
Realm Walk is a work of love and my own twist on Sleeping Beauty.

Maezy is no sleeping beauty.
She prefers her sword to magic, is more comfortable chopping off limbs than kissing lips, and she can visit people in her sleep. However, life isn’t a complete realm walk for a hybrid like Maezy. She has a gift anyone might kill for, and she’s trained her whole life to deal with that eventuality.

There should always be a Plan C.
Her father, the Elf King, has sent an army to kidnap her. He wants to use her talent to take over all the realms, but Maezy isn’t ready to comply with his wishes. In fact, hoping to stop the onslaught, she’s agreed to her mother’s plan.

Sorcerer versus Hybrid.
The handsome associate her father has bribed into helping him has some superior warlock powers. Brandalfr’s a hybrid as well, and he knows how Maezy feels. He’s the only one, though, who can help. With so much at stake, will he be willing to assist her?

They’re in this together.
Now Maezy must use more than her sword to beat her father and hold his hot, irritating, hybrid warlock at arm’s length. After all, her mother always taught her to never trust an elf.
Another part of Aimee Ann's blog I love is seeing her support of our troops. She helps contribute to wounded hero charities. Please feel free to check out the four charities she assists in sponsering and sharing with her readers when you visit her page. I hope you will enjoy her review of Realm Walk and the other author reviews she's done!
