Ahh, courage. One of those words that sounds beautiful and wholesome and obtainable. However, reality is sure in its own opinions that you cannot hold onto this word with any real adequacy if you aren't put through the fire first. This is a portion of my own experience riding the wave of bravery, but it dovetails nicely into the reading of this next book. Picking up The Courage Map: 13 Principals to Living Boldly by Franziska Iseli was in part due to a random voice over the email asking if I'd be interested in reading the book because of my great love of Brene Brown's The Gifts of Imperfection and Daring Greatly as well as Rachel Hollis's Girl , Stop Apologizing , and the honest to goodness realization that it was exactly the next type of book I wanted to read.
